Janice Joplin, Stevie Nicks, boho rockstar vibes, and queen energy, led us to Gillette Castle, in East Haddam, CT. This photo shoot was one of the Wild Woman Soulography shoots, created and photographed by Dani McDonald.

The Wild Woman Soulography Experience is transformational. It’s so much more than a photo shoot. The day of the shoot is a day when you feel completely supported as the person you are, and the person you are becoming. I feel strongly about all of this, because I had the pleasure of going through the Wild Woman Soulography with Dani! You can see some of the photographs she captured of me all over my website and my instagram. Now, I am the wardrobe stylist for Dani’s shoots!

Prior to each photo shoot, Dani and I take the time to (virtually) meet with each goddess. Through conversations, energy work, and other modalities, we begin to create the vision for the shoot. Check out Dani’s website for a more detailed description of the Wild Woman Soulography Experience.

For Keri’s clothes, our color palette was light and neutral – featuring lots of white, cream, and tan. We brought in that rockstar boldness with the jewelry. Combining my collection with Keri’s was so much fun.

When I styled Keri, I chose pieces inspired by musicians like Jewel, Janice Joplin, and Stevie Nicks. One of her archetypes that came through was that of The Creator. The Creator archetype is strongly represented by the singer/performer element of Keri’s life.

With each Soulography photo shoot, it’s always fun to notice the weather that occurs on the day of their shoot. Keri had beautiful sunshine, as if the weather was encouraging her to shine as bright as she felt comfortable. Since you are reading this, I would like to share that same message with you!
