My client Bethany was headed to New York earlier this month and I styled her – from casual ‘run-around’ New York looks to her big event! Below are the New York travel outfits for your own inspiration.

New York Travel Outfits for Daytime
Bethany was turning this trip for work into a weekend event with her sister and good friends. She was going to be visiting iconic landmarks and walking…a LOT as one does in New York. So these New York travel outfits needed to be versatile and chic.
Here’s our main combos:
- Wide leg pants + Tank + Blazer
- Jeans + T-shirt + Blazer or Jacket
Shoes for New York travel are:
- Tennis shoes
- Comfortable boots with a small heel
- A pair of slip ons for the hotel and running up the breakfast or snag a bagel
- Heels for the event
And don’t forget socks that are high enough for the boots and the tennis shoes. This is a no blister zone.
New York Travel Outfits for Events
Bethany’s words for how she wanted to feel at the events were:

While we considered dresses, and even ordered some to try on, we both fell in love with the satin suit and satin set for her events in New York.
The satin suit we paired with a belt, lace bra and sling back navy blue patent heels. The matching set we paired with the same sling-back heels and added a silver cuff on top of the sleeve.
